Background A multi-site leisure company, which had
undertaken a rapid expansion programme and doubled the size of the company over
an eighteen month period, in an effort to roll out the brand quickly.
The expected increase in profit was not as great as forecast, and
customer satisfaction levels had declined. MDA were asked to evaluate the business
strategy, marketing activities, organisational structure and operational
processes, and recommend revisions and improvements to increase customer
satisfaction and maximise net profit.
